etna's shamisen (Etona no Shamisen エ ト ナ の 三味 線) acoustic and electrified. a wooden wenge bridge suspend an Artec mini humbucker pickup. wenge neck and stringers. hollow spruce body with top recycled from asahi guitar and a yamaha bottom, so we remain consistent. i chose to replace the leather (originally snake, now cat or dog) with acoustic wood, to better sound on a magnetic pickup. the surprise is that it really sounds like a shamisen, but on etna background,
overdrived turns in to a angry bloodthirsty monster, growls a powerful but easy to control feedback.
