irrational table
I think that playing improvising is like a dialogue.
The ideal place for dialogue is the table, better eye contact and deeper concentration on conversation.
So I built a 4 people foldable table that is the instrument. The position is unusual, uncomfortable. You are forced to play simple, out of habit, out of a preordained pattern. Interlocutors hands are in the visual, by touch the vibrations.
I expect deeper listening to each other, synergy and synchrony. A different conception of music and composing.
All in solid spruce contains 8 electric voices:
standard guitar,
fretless electric bass,
Clotina (expressive electric harp),
electric drum,
kalimba,
tunable lamellophone,
electric percussion kit,
electric cymbal (coring cup).
