esmeralda is a hollw body guitar, designed for post-rock. the neck is in maple, rosewood fingerboard, the body in a single piece of sculpted fir, top and bottom recycled from a classic spanish guitar. english handcrafted electronics for 5 positions telecaster (1 neck, 2 neck + bridge, 3 bridge, 4 neck + bridge out of phase, 5 neck trhough capacitor on the switch). tuning pegs, bridge and tremolo ghisby-type by willkinson. Pickup p-90 dog ear, reverse winding on bridge. it sounds generous and clean, generous feedbeck. played in acoustics you feel a lot of passive strings after the bridge creating a strange counterpoint.
